London Civic Forum has launched ‘A Guide to Take Part London’, a legacy resource to help organisations in London build on our eight years’ experience delivering active citizenship learning in London.
The Guide is a practical handbook supporting organisations across sectors to adapt and embed this evidence-based Take Part approach to community learning for civil and civic society participation.
It includes a clear outline of the Take Part approach, ideas for applying it to meet your communities’ needs, and practical advice on a range of learning models to suit different learner groups, situations and budgets. It contains case studies sharing experiences from a wide range of successful projects, and a wealth of links to further reading and support from other agencies.
The National Take Part Network continues to offer opportunities for networking, good practice development and resource sharing: see www.takepart.org for more details.
